And We're Back Folks!

It's a miracle the 16th went down this year. I had major reservations about continuing. I was tired of updating the site (real life responsibilities getting in the way, finally, haha), and I was afraid the idea had run its course. But thanks to all of your support, and the threat of Pierre and Denis doing this contest with or without me, I agreed to do it again. And frankly, I had a nice time this year. So much so, that I see us doing this until we can't. So, if you kind reader of these brown electronic pages senses a possible subdued decline this year, you are right. But I suspect we'll be back in full force next year, with all 16 Octobermen vying to be the latest Brownman. And with a new Bill Murray Award winner.

Jace's second October Classic as an observer. I look forward to the day he actually plays with us. I just found out he played hole 17.

Jimmy Brewski's first Brown Cup. Keep an eye on his, he's sneaky good.

Erick Caron actually won a hole. I think I was most proud if that. The guys picked up gold for the first time 3 years, has played one time year with us since, and has shown a lot of improvement. It's amazing.

No Bill Murray Award winner. This saddens me. But this year was pretty subdued anyhow. Not sure why.. Oh yes I do, no Americans. Please come back! You sweet and silly clown princes of Maine (this is a reference, look it up). We need you.
